Google again tries to put some sexyness on the process of renting or buying a house. This time is called: Google Rent Project.How quickly individuals and real estate agents will start using it? Noone knows..it might depends on how quickly American consumers might like it and adopt it.
As in the property sector..you want to go to the website that has the more property options ( you do not want to miss any) so if Google Rent is not close to competitors property volume it might not succeed as people will tend to visit the property aggregator with most properties listed.
It is anyway, good to monitor Google Rent Project development and see what the competitors are going to do.
Here in Australia, the most popular property websites: realestate.com.au, domain.com.au were not afraid when Google in 2007 allowed Real estate agents to add properties on Google Maps. These two websites keep being the most visited property sites for Australian property hunters.
